Charles Schwab Online truly is what it says it is: a complete online representation of this discount brokerage. You'll find the rundown on all of Schwab's products, which include brokerage accounts, research information, mutual funds,
and the tools necessary to make the most of them. One product featured at the site is Street Smart, Schwab's software for Windows and Macintosh that allows you to go online with Wall Street and take care of all your investment needs.
Illustrated step-by-step instructions for TeleBroker, Schwab's 24-hour-a-day service line are included in the site, as are summaries of their account offerings, commission schedules, and a full listing of Schwab's local branches.
Where the site really shines, though, is in the information and resources it offers for non-customers. Investor Tools contains an Investment Library where you can request literature on retirement planning, estate planning, investing for your children's future, and investment basics.
